CHAS Application Support
Independent guidance to help your business achieve CHAS accreditation — first time.

Preparing for CHAS accreditation?
We help contractors and businesses get their health and safety documentation, policies and evidence ready for a successful CHAS application.
As an independent health and safety consultancy, we do not issue CHAS certificates. What we do is make sure your business is fully prepared before you apply, so you can get through the assessment process efficiently and with confidence.
What Is CHAS?
CHAS stands for the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme. It is one of the UK’s most recognised health and safety accreditation schemes and is widely used across industries such as construction, facilities management, manufacturing and the public sector.
CHAS is designed to assess whether a business has suitable health and safety arrangements in place. This usually includes a review of policies, risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), procedures and other supporting documentation. The assessment is normally carried out remotely by a qualified assessor.
Many clients use CHAS accreditation as part of their contractor selection process. Although it is not a legal requirement, it is often requested during tendering and pre-qualification, particularly where businesses need to demonstrate that they meet recognised health and safety standards.
